From my earliest days, creativity has been my constant companion. Even my older sister's clothing and socks couldn't escape my artistic touch. Reluctantly, she watched as I transformed them into stylish sweater vests and elegant evening gowns for my beloved Barbie and Ken.
As I grew older, thrift stores became my haven, offering endless possibilities. Size was never a barrier when I discovered a fabric or pattern that captivated me. That funky blazer or comfy gaucho pant quickly became a favorite canvas for my alterations, ensuring a perfect fit and personalized style. It was during this time that my passion for altering clothing took root and blossomed.
My journey led me to Kennesaw State University, where I earned a BAT in Apparel & Textiles, deepening my understanding of the art and craftsmanship of fashion. But it was my first industry job at a renowned bridal store that truly stole my heart. Working with meticulous attention to detail on exquisite bridal gowns and formal dresses, I realized the immense joy of contributing to someone's special day.
Driven by my love for the bridal industry, I embarked on a new adventure. In March 2019, Alabaster was born, brimming with anticipation for the incredible journey ahead. With each stitch and alteration, I am committed to bringing your vision to life, ensuring that your wedding day is everything you've ever dreamed of.
