Book a private fitting. So, you’ve decided to have your dress altered by Alabaster! Booking with us is easy, book here now. Please note that there is a $50 appointment fee ($25 non bridal) for the initial consultation and pinning. Rest assured, our dedicated service and attention to detail will ensure your dress receives the utmost care and expertise. Most clients choose to leave their dress with us, but there's no obligation to do so. Schedule your private fitting today at Alabaster and let us create the perfect fit for your dress.
Your first fitting. You’ve booked your first appointment with Alabaster and we are so excited to meet you! Plan to be with Alabaster for 1 hour and 30 minutes for brides and 1 hour for all other clients. Alabaster is located on the second floor in the Powder Springs Avenue building in SW Marietta. Find our address and contact information here. Once you’ve arrived, you will get changed into your undergarments, dress, and shoes. It is essential that you have with you the exact undergarments and shoes you are to wear on the date of your event to ensure the proper fit. We will not be able to continue the appointment without them. The fit of your dress will be assessed and pinned at this time. Your alterations specialist will let you know at the end of your first fitting if a second fitting is necessary at no charge. At the end of the first fitting an invoice will be generated and emailed to you. Half of the total charges of alterations will be due at this time. Alabaster will not start work on your dress without this payment. Lastly, we will book your second fitting or pick-up appointment.
Your pick-up appointment. Yay! Your dress is now ready to take home. Plan to be with Alabaster for 30 minutes for brides and 15 minutes for all other clients. Be sure to bring undergarments and shoes to this appointment also. You will change into your dress to ensure everything is satisfactory. At the end of this appointment the final payment and second half of your invoice is due. Your dress will not be released until the invoice has been paid in full.
